It is not what you do for your children but what you have taught them to do for themselves that will make them successful human beings. -Ann Landers
It was great having a full week to work!
The after school program Sizer Theatre Arts is having its first production of the year tonight and tomorrow. We are so excited to have the show She Kills Monsters presented in our new school! For more information, see the front page of the Flash. Tickets available at the door.
We were also happy to welcome alumni to school last Saturday night for an all-class reunion. They did an activity with us based on the Dr. Seuss Book Oh, the Place You’ll Go, and we used it to decorate a little pink tree at the Townsend Public Library’s Festival of Trees. They are having opening day of their festival and a fair at the library tomorrow if you want to stop by and take a look.
Next week many of our students will be taking part in the national Hour of Code week. Check the Flash for information on this program, and to find out what our computer club is up to.
Tuesday night you have the opportunity to view the movie Captain America here at school. See the Flash for details; any proceeds benefit the sophomore NYC trip.
They are also selling t-shirts, you’ll find a description and order form in the Flash. What a great gift they would make!
And…Thursday night we host our first official basketball game in our new gym! Come sit in the nice bleachers and cheer our team on. Check the Flash for game times.
There’s more in the Flash; please be sure to go over it with your student, and we’ll see you all on Monday!
