“A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.”
-David Brinkley
It was a short week, but much was accomplished by students! If you know a seventh grader, ask them about the “Glow Hands” break-out at Sizer today, which served as an introduction to what they will be studying next. The rest of us will have to wait for a report in next week’s Flash.
We can’t wait to see everyone at next Friday Night’s Spaghetti Supper, which is also the winter sports meeting from 6-7. If you go to the sports meeting, you’ll be back in time for the Advisory Basket Raffles! Families, check the Flash to see what theme your student’s advisory is working with, and what they can do to contribute.
Late Breaking News (that didn’t make it into the Flash): There is an Outing Club hike on Monday, November 24th. ALL students are welcome to sign up to come, no experience required. Permission slips are due this Monday, so we are attaching a slip to this email along with the Flash. Please check with your student to see if they’d like to come.
Lots more news in the Flash-be sure to go over it with your student to make sure they don’t miss out on any opportunities.
Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you back at school on Monday.
