On the stage, the characters express themselves more through words than images. So the arguments of the characters and the tension between characters - words have to be used to express that, and I love that about theater.

Congratulations to the drama club for the recognition they received at the drama festival last weekend. The student director, several actors, and the Crew Ensemble all received awards for their work, and their production of Almost Maine was chosen to move on to semi-finals on March 15th.

Tonight and tomorrow night are YOUR big chances to see this excellent production. The Saturday matinee has been cancelled to give the company a chance to rest, but there are still two chances to see them:

Tonight (Friday) from 7-9pm
and tomorrow (Saturday night) from 7-9pm
Tickets are $5 per person or $20 per family

Due to the drama club’s success, the House of the Rising Stars has been moved to Friday night, April 11. We are hoping to entice a few more parents and alumni to perform for us.

Rare Opportunity: The NCCES Branding Task Force is looking into the possibility of recommending the school take a new name; one that better reflects WHO we are, rather than just WHAT we are. They will be taking suggestions until Monday, March 10, at noon. This is a rare opportunity and we are looking forward to reading many different suggestions. If you’re in the school building, there are folders on each floor at the bulletin boards where you can submit your idea.
