“Grit is the ability to hang on when circumstances say ‘let go.’”
- Troy McLaughlin
It has taken grit to get through this winter! The extra days off have led to our changing our MCAS schedule for this spring, affecting start times on a few days for different grades. Please be sure to check the schedule on the front of the Flash and to mark your calendars.
The seventh grade is revved up to show their best work on their MCAS test next week. They spent several days in an ELA Extravaganza, learning how to stay healthy and ready to show what they know. Check the pictures in the Flash about this event, as well as the seventh graders responses to the activities.
The Drama Club will be performing Almost Maine at the semi-finals of the high school drama festival tomorrow. They had great shows here at school last weekend, and are taking their best performances on the road to the festival as they represent NCCES.
There’s lots more information in the Flash-please be sure to review it with your student to make sure you can take advantage of all that NCCES has to offer (and to make sure you arrive at school at the right time next week!)
Have a great weekend, and we’ll see you on Monday.
